Machupicchu by Car
Daily departures at 8:30 am, returning 9:00 pm the next day.
DAY 1:
Departures 8:30 a.m
We visit the town of Ollantaytambo , enjoying the beautiful scenery for about ½ hour. Then we continue to travel to Habrá de Málaga, which is located on the top of a mountain ( 4316 meters above sea level).
After a short break we will begin to walk down towards the jungle passing for the different flats that combine paradisiac landscapes of majestic snow-capped mountains to the warm jungle, until Alfamayó we will find a road in perfect conditions with completely asphalted surface, then begins the road without asphalt.
Then we continue to the town of Santa Maria, located at 1575 meters about sea level, and on to Santa Teresa around 2:00 pm, where we will have lunch until 3:45 pm. We leave Sta. Teresa to machupicchu vacations hydroelectric at 4:35 pm. We continue to Aguas Calientes, arriving around 5:30 pm. There you can enjoy the hot springs and we will have a delicious dinner at 8:00 pm.
Finally we will walk to the train station at the hydroelectric towards Aguas Calientes, arriving around 5:30 p.m. Each passenger will be taken to their respective hotel or hostel, during this period of time you will have free time to visit the hot springs in Aguas Calientes. At 8:00 pm. We will enjoy a delicious dinner, during this time our tour guide will give us an explanation about the visit to Machupicchu.
DAY 2:Machupicchu, New Wonder of the World
Breakfast is served starting at 5:00 am. You will have the option to hike to Machupicchu or take the short (10 min) bus ride up the mountain. Guided tours start at 6:00 am and have a duration of min. 2 hours. After the guided tour you are free to enjoy yourself until 11:30 am, when we will return to Cusco via the same route, arriving to Cusco at 9:00 pm.
