Inca Trail 4D/3N
The Inca Trail to Machupicchu is the best known and most popular hike among tourists. The total distance is 45 km and takes 4 days, including a 1 day visit to Machupicchu. Hiking between breathtaking scenery with views of snow capped mountains, the cloud forest and stunningly preserved ruins is an unforgettable experience.
Itinerary
Day 01:
Between 7:00 - 8:00 am we pick you up at your hotel and we go to km 82 by bus. From here on it will take us about 7 hours of hiking ( 13 km ) to reach the first campsite in Huayllabamba.
Day 02:
Physically a tough day: 16 km and climbing 2 high passes. Warmi Wanusca, at 4,200 mts, is the hightest point of the trek. Breathtaking and stunning! Included is a visit to the ruins of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca. We will camp in Pacaymayu.
Day 03:
A relatively easy day: we walk only 11 km and most of the route is flat and descending. We will visit the archaeological sites of Phuyupatamarca, Intipata and Wiñaywayna, the latter being our last campsite of the trek.
Day 04:
After breakfast, we depart to Inti Punku, the entrance of the old Inca citadel of Machupicchu. This will take us about an hour and a half and is an unforgettable experience, observing the ruins from that point. In Machupicchu we have a guided tour of approx. 2 hours and in the afternoon, after that we will travel back to Cusco by train, arriving around 9.00pm.
Included:
- Hotel pickup and private transportation to km 82, start of the Inca Trail.

- Personnels tents: 2 people per tents (tent of 4 / quantities), for the comfort and safety of the passengers and their belongings. Our tents are three seasons, to assure the good rest of all our passengers.
